Dancing With the Stars” crowned its Season 34 champions after an electrifying three-hour finale filled with standout performances.
Robert Irwin and his pro partner, Witney Carson, claimed the mirrorball trophy during the Tuesday, November 25 finale marking Carson’s second career win.
“My sister said it best: ‘Thank you for changing my life,’” Irwin, 21, shared emotionally, giving a heartfelt shout-out to former champion Bindi Irwin. Carson added that she felt she had “already won” simply by having Robert as her partner.
Irwin and Carson took the top spot ahead of runners-up Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy. Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa secured third place, while Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach finished fourth. Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten rounded out the night in fifth.
Before Irwin and Carson lifted the Len Goodman Memorial Mirrorball Trophy, all finalists faced three intense rounds of competition. First came the Judge’s Choice round, where each judge handpicked a dance style and offered personalized coaching. Then the couples tackled the high-pressure Instant Dance, receiving their routine and music only minutes before hitting the ballroom. The finale concluded with the beloved freestyle round a series of show-stopping performances that amazed both viewers and judges alike.
