Kylie Jenner Shares Her Experience with Stem Cell Therapy to Treat ‘Chronic Back Pain’ After Pregnancy

Kylie Jenner is speaking out about turning to stem cell therapy after struggling with “chronic back pain” for nearly three years.

The 28-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 3, detailing her choice to pursue medical treatment. She revealed that her back pain began following the birth of her second child, son Aire, in February 2022. (Jenner also shares her 7-year-old daughter, Stormi, with ex Travis Scott.)

“I’ve been dealing with bad chronic back pain for almost [three] years after my last pregnancy, and nothing I tried seemed to help,” Jenner wrote. “Hearing how much relief [sister] Kim [Kardashian] got gave me the confidence to look into stem cell therapy.”

“I went to @drakhan and his team at @eterna.health, and I’m truly grateful for the care and support I received. Every body is different, but this has been an important step in my healing,” Jenner shared.

She encouraged fans to “definitely do your research” if they’re thinking about stem cell therapy, adding, “Talk to your doctor and medical professionals, but I wanted to share this in case it helps anyone.”

Later, Jenner posted a photo from behind showing two medical gauze pads on her lower back, and also shared a selfie with her doctor, Adeel Khan, founder of Eterna Health.

Back in August, Jenner’s older sister, Kim Kardashian, shared on Instagram that she, too, sought stem cell treatment with Dr. Khan for various health issues.

“I’m excited to share my stem cell journey with you,” she captioned a series of photos showing herself with Dr. Khan, including shots of her undergoing treatment at Eterna Health in Mexico. “Two years ago, I tore my shoulder while lifting weights, leaving me in severe pain. I tried everything to find relief, then learned about stem cell therapy and met Dr. Adeel Khan at Eterna. His team treated my shoulder with Dezawa Muse cells™️, and the results were immediate. I regained full range of motion, and my shoulder has felt completely normal ever since.”

Kardashian, 45, added, “Encouraged by this success, I recently returned to Dr. Khan to treat chronic back pain I’ve struggled with for years. The Muse stem cell treatment was life-changing again. I felt relief right away, and the unbearable pain is gone. If you’re dealing with back pain, I can’t recommend this enough  it truly transformed my life when I thought my body was breaking down.”

“Of course, everyone is different, and I’m just sharing what worked for me,” Kim noted. “Do your own research and consult medical professionals. Since Muse stem cells aren’t yet available in the U.S., I traveled to Mexico to receive treatment from Dr. Khan’s team. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity and resources to pursue this healing, and I hope the science continues to evolve so more people can benefit. Forever thankful to @dr.akhan and @eterna.health. Here’s to hope, healing, and the future of science.”

Other celebrities who have sought stem cell treatment from Dr. Khan include actor Zac Efron.

“I fully commit to my roles, which I love, but it takes a toll  my back was seriously strained after The Iron Claw, even after months of physical therapy,” Efron, 38, captioned a September 2024 Instagram post with Dr. Khan. “Curious about stem cell therapy, I reached out to @dr.akhan at @eterna.health. He answered all my questions and made me feel confident about the process.”

“Now, six months after treatment, I’m back in the gym and already noticing improvements,” Efron added. “I’m excited to explore the latest longevity technologies through the Eterna Membership Program I’ll be sharing updates on my progress”
