The video showed a very happy six-year-old who was kidnapped by her mother and sold for her “eyes and skin” to one of the traditional healers. Racquel “Kelly” Smith, Jacquen Appolis (boyfriend), and Steveno van Rhyn (their accomplice) were the three who were being prosecuted for this case and were guilty.
Skildst on the interview, the little girl’s mother was effectively sentenced to life imprisonment, and the traditional healer was given a 30-year prison term. It is not clear what the fate of child traffickers was.
