A spontaneously smart 13-year-old boy prevented a kidnapping by using a $3 toy that his mom gave him. What could have been a tragic incident turned out to be a story of heroism and originality.
The boy was going home when a stranger came near him, trying to make him get into the car. The boy, who felt the danger, remembered a toy his mom bought recently—an unnoticeable but loud device which sets off a sharp noise when switched on.
After the kidnapper had come too close, the boy turned the toy on, and thus, the loud screaming alarm, which not only scared the criminal but also attracted, in time, a lot of witnesses.
Of course, the kidnapper did not expect the n, noise and as a result, he ran away at that instant. The authorities were duly informed, a nd on account of the actions of the boy, nobody was injured.
Afterwards, the police commended the boy’s quick thinking, telling how little things that work can save a life in a dangerous situation. His mother, who was both happy, stated that initially, she had bought the toy as a safety measure, but never foresaw the role it would take in her son’s safety.
