The latest update about Fast & Furious 11 was that the film is slated to begin production early next year. Director Louis Leterrier noted that “I’m finishing my horror movie on September 15th, and I start [pre-production on] Fast on September 16th,” confirming that “It’s filming early next year, and it’s coming out in 2026, which will be exactly to the day, 25 years since the first one came out.”

The Fast & Furious franchise debuted in 2001, and since then, it has become one of the biggest action franchises of all time. It underwent a big switch halfway, as it moved away from the car races that made it famous and entered the world of espionage and action. The saga is to end with the upcoming twelfth installment, and Vin Diesel just shared an exciting update.

All love, always.” The actor didn’t clarify what the shooting was for.

Another Fast 11 Update Sounded Promising

There’s no information on what Fast 11 will be about, or how it will be titled. The last installment is referred to as Fast 11 or Fast & Furious X: Part 2. With a lot of pressure for a perfect ending to one of the biggest franchises of all time, Fast 11 will reportedly consider the fans’ opinions. At least this is what Tyrese Gibson noted recently.

I know that fans over the years have been wanting to kind of ground the film and get back to more of the street racing and get away from being in outer space and all the other stuff,” Tyrese told CBR. “I think right now they’re in the basement, they’re riding, they’re cooking, they’re really trying to pull it together, to make sure that the fans can show up and really enjoy the film.”

Fast 11 will premiere sometime in 2026.
