Netflix’s real estate series Owning Manhattan is back for a second season after some offscreen shakeups but which agents will return, and who won’t?
The show, which debuted in June 2024, follows real estate mogul Ryan Serhant, CEO of SERHANT. Ryan first gained fame on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York (2012–2021) and later starred in the 2017 spinoffs Sell It Like Serhant and Ryan’s Renovation.
“I love Bravo. I wouldn’t be here without them,” Ryan told Us Weekly exclusively in July 2024. “Even though it’s streaming now, the essence of cable TV remains you have advertisers and commercial breaks. You have to craft episodes that make viewers want to tune in next week, which is a different energy than ‘watch it now.’”
Ryan welcomed the opportunity to explore something new with Netflix’s Owning Manhattan.
“There were certain elements we couldn’t really experiment with,” he said. “As a producer, I wanted to create something unlike anything in reality TV the voiceover, the orchestra, the storytelling, and how all eight episodes almost feel like one cohesive documentary. You can’t do that on cable.”
He added, “The crew was incredible. Everything was just on another level. It was bigger.”
Owning Manhattan follows Ryan and the agents at SERHANT as they navigate New York City’s priciest listings, all vying to make their firm the top in the city. The first season featured Chloe Tucker Cane, Nile Lundgren, Tricia Lee, Jade Shenker, Jessica Markowski, Jessica Taylor, Jordan Hurt, Jonathan Nørmølle, Jordan March, Savannah Gowarty, and Jeffrey St. Arromand.

After expanding from Brooklyn to Manhattan, Tricia Lee returns in season 2 with even more high-profile listings.
Jonathan Nørmølle
Jonathan Nørmølle was let go by Ryan on season 1 after negative feedback from fellow brokers and a controversial podcast episode. He went on to start his own brokerage, Next Gen Ventures, before joining Keller Williams NYC.
Savannah Gowarty
According to the season 1 finale, Savannah Gowarty departed SERHANT and has since joined Compass Real Estate. As a result, she will not appear in season 2 of Owning Manhattan.
