A regular travel situation has attracted significant attention on the Internet after one of the passengers on a flight was photographed, and the photo went viral. This burst of emotions has resulted in almost everyone agreeing on one point.
This photograph was massively spread via social networking and was full of people who were very unsatisfied with the passenger who was reclining his seat on a full flight. The woman in the last row is in the middle of the row, and the pictures of her eyeing the passenger in front of her and her half smile show something we’ve all encountered at some time.
The comments section of the post quickly outsourced with some people, almost all of who, were of the same opinion, i.e., reclining your seat when the flight is packed is a big no.
“If you’re not in the business class, then keep your seat up—no one likes a head in their lap,” one user commented.
What is more, it was argued by others like this, “That’s the reason I always ask for a window seat. In the worst scenario, I will have to put up with an inconsiderate one.”
Also, there were some who tried to justify the practice by saying that if the seat allows, then the passenger is right to recline. In spite of that, the reaction of the majority is that people’s manners should not be forgotten and while flying, it should be obligatory, particularly, on transatlantic flights where space is scarce.
One of the airlines’ personal policies is to regulate the reclining of seats; therefore, some provide this service like. for example, on a mealtime or a short flight, others don’t. Nevertheless, the question remains shall we recline or non? none at all?
