According to the reports, the authorities are determined to start a new search for the possible location of Madeleine McCann in a region very near where the poor child was last seen in Portugal.
The initiation, to be conducted by the German police, is being prepared to materialize near the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, where Madeleine disappeared in May 2007 when she was three years old. The operation is supposedly a part of the suspect in the case, German sex offender Christian Brückner.
Brückner, 47, has been named as the major third person in the investigation, but at the same time, he has not been indicted for any charges related to the girl’s disappearance. The German public prosecution authorities still say that it is definite that the girl is dead, and they reckon Brückner is the suspected person.
The search that is to take place soon is believed to be concentrating on a definite size of land only, while no details have been given out relating to the place. So far, none of the searches, including a massive campaign in 2014 and one in the Arade Dam of Portugal in 2023, have been successful in any way.
Together with their supporters, Kate and Gerry McCann have always been waiting for the case to be resolved. The event still goes down in history as the case of one of the most spectacular missing children ever.
However, the authorities have not given any confirmation about how the time and the area for the search are to be determined yet. According to the words of some sources, it may start within the next few days.
