Khloé Kardashian recently admitted that it was a difficult time for her to connect with her baby son Tatum just after birth. The star from the Kardashians said that she was not feeling the best emotionally, that at one point, a doctor sarcastically offered to take her boy away instead of.
Khloé said during a recent episode of The Kardashians that she had been feeling very emotional about the new change after the arrival of her baby boy through a surrogate in July 2022. She said that her first child, daughter True, was easy for her to connect with, unlike Toom, who needed more time to bond with.
“I was filled with a feeling of not knowing what was going on,” Khloé confessed. “I vividly remember saying to a doctor, ‘I don’t feel that bond [with Tatum] yet,’ and he replied, ‘Well, I can take him if you don’t want him.'”

After joking, Khloé did not hesitate to recognize how fragile she was at that time. She stated that due to the vast range of the postpartum period of emotions, she, in particular, when involved in surrogacy, became exposed to them, as the surrogacy experience is different from carrying the child itself.
The honesty of Khloé unveils the quite often unvoiced problems many mothers face in the perinatal phase of life. She also assured her supporters that she was now more than ever deeply connected to Tatum, calling him “the biggest blessing” and expressing her gratitude for her journey into motherhood.
Her fans have hailed Khloé for her sincerity, as her narrative is akin to those of many parents who have overcome similar difficulties. Postpartum bonding is not always instantaneous, and Khloé’s will to openly disclose her emotions has become a part of the normalization of these emotions.
