“Gwyneth Paltrow’s 19-year-old son, Moses, made his red carpet debut on Monday, December 8, joining his mom at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, Marty Supreme, held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.”“Paltrow beamed with pride as she posed with Moses, who kept it casual in a dark brown cardigan, matching pants, and a white shirt. The 53-year-old actress dazzled in a navy blue strapless floor-length gown, her hair elegantly pulled back.”
Paltrow and Moses were joined on the red carpet by other A-listers, including Marty Supreme star Timothée Chalamet, who coordinated in matching orange outfits with girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
As well as Moses, Paltrow shares 21-year-old daughter Apple with her ex, Chris Martin, from whom she famously “consciously uncoupled” in 2014. The couple finalized their divorce in 2016. Paltrow later married Glee cocreator Brad Falchuk in September 2018.
Moses, 19, is currently studying at Brown University and is also one-third of the band People I’ve Met, formerly known as Dancer.
Back in April, Paltrow celebrated her youngest child’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post: “Happy birthday mosesmartin ❤️ Honestly, you are a dream come true. You are deeply kind and brilliant, with incredible intellect and immense talent. I listen to your music on repeat and miss you so much at college. And today more than ever. I love you, my boy. ❤️ Mama.”
Moses’ red carpet debut comes just over a year after his sister Apple made her high-society debut at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in November 2024, an event attended by both parents and Moses.
Following the event, Apple faced criticism on social media, with some users accusing her of “mean girl” behavior after a TikTok video shared by French magazine Paris Match showed her confidently posing for photographs. In the clip, she appeared to stand behind another débutante, Aliénor Loppin de Montmort, leading some to claim she had stolen the spotlight.
Loppin de Montmort defended Apple in December 2024, telling People, “[Apple’s] genuinely the nicest girl ever! She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting. She was the nicest girl ever towards not only me, but all the debs ”
In May, Paltrow spoke about her two children, noting that they appreciate the unique way she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin raised them.
“They are very proud of the iconoclastic approach that we have taken in the past,” she told E! News. “Looking back, there are always things we used to write about [at Goop] where people were like, ‘Oh my gosh, what is this?’ And now they’re so mainstream. My kids are really proud of the fact that we’ve always been kind of first in this space.”
“They are definitely artist souls,” Paltrow added. “I do think that mix of structure and art is really coming through in who they are now. They’re both academic, yet they have these beautiful free spirits, and I think they will pursue art, which is wonderful.”
